Week 6: Monday:Luke 22:1-20:
ReplyDeleteIn this Bible passage Judas betrays Jesus for money.Jesus also eats the passover meal with his disciples. This passage is when Jesus uses wine as a symbol of his blood and bread as a symbol of his body. The Lord's supper to me is a memory of Jesus. The Last Supper was th last meal Jesus ever had and I think it is cool that the Bible actually mentions it!
Week 6: Tuesday:Luke 21: 1-24:
ReplyDeleteIn this Bible passage a widow gives offering. She gives everything she has which is only to coins. Jesus also tells of the future in this Bible passage. He says that there would be false prophets, persecution etc. One giving habit that I have is when ever I see I go to a store and see an man or women outside with a bucket I want to give something. I just puts a smile on my face when I have that chance to bless someone. It just makes me feel great!
Week 6:Wednesday:Matthew 25: 1-30:
ReplyDeleteIn this Bible passage Jesus tells the Parable of the the ten bridesmaids. The point of this parable is that we as Christians should keep watch because no one knows the day or the hour of God's return. Jesus also tells another parable of a servant in this Bible passage. The point of this parable is that if one takes care of what they have they would be given more. The person in this story I identify the most is the servant who took care of what he had. I really need to apply this story to my daily life!
Week 6: Thursday:John 17: 1-26:
ReplyDeleteIn this Bible passage Jesus prays to God saying that he has made way for everyone to have eternal life. Jesus returns to heaven also in this Bible passage after he prays for everyone who choses to believe in him. I pray for those who do not know Jesus. I really do not want anyone to go to hell. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it. I want so badly for people to get saved including some of my very own family members whom I love very much!
Week 6:Friday:John 16:5-33:
ReplyDeleteIn this Bible passage Jesus tells the People that he is going away. He tells them not to be sad. Jesus sends the holy spirit to guide the people. These verses bring me peace because it lets me know that even though Jesus is in heaven now he is still with us because Jesus speaks to us through his holy spirit. I think this is so awesome and it brings me peace. It lets me know that no matter where I am, God is always with me to lead the way!
